can’t help myself. Take me anywhere, restaurants, football games, a sidewalk and I will observe people. It’s fascinating what you learn about random people through their body language.

Whenever I get really stressed out….I head to the pond. Hershey Girl is absolutely giddy with excitement as I head in that direction. I become completely relaxed as she dances around me while I’m gathering sticks. There is also something to releasing stress as I try to throw those sticks as far as I can. She will go get them as long as I throw them & we both come back to the house in the best of moods.
I love to decorate my home with discarded items that the previous owners did not want but which I loved. This is part of a discarded organ which I found in the trash heap behind a junk store, once the junk dealer discovered the organ didn’t play he threw it away…$20.00 later he was happy I had covered his cost and I was on cloud nine. This wonderful “trash to treasure” now hangs gracefully over my fireplace.
I register for the HGTV Dream House every year, every day. I’m so convinced I’m going to win it, I clean out all my cabinets in anticipation for the big move. Even though I haven’t won the dream house yet it’s still great to have clean cabinets. One day when they show up at my door to hand me the keys I’ll probably gush more about my annual cabinet cleaning than I will about the awesome house I just won…....Nawww, won’t happen, you’ll just see a screaming fool on TV!
I collect Hard Rock T-shirts when I travel. I have driven out of my way for one and even own some where the restaurant is now defunct. I love how each one is representative of it’s city and wear them proudly. Lots of people stop me to ask how I liked the city Hard Rock depicts on my T-shirt.
19. I name all of my cars.
20. Love popping/stomping bubble wrap packaging material.
21. I’ve never had a Starbucks coffee.
22. I own a chink gun & know how to use it.
I grew up in an octagon house that my father designed. We call it the round house, townfolk call it the spaceship. With a spiral staircase shooting up the middle and three floors of complete circles, this house was a kids hide & seek heaven and my sisters, brother, me & friends knew all the best hidey holes. The staircase was also useful as a jungle gym to hang, swing, slide and jump from. This house burned down twice as I was growing up, once on Christmas Eve, but my father always rebuilt. I’m so glad he did, it was a wonderful playground built with love that we all still love to call home.
During my senior year of High school, I put a for sale sign in front of my most dreaded teacher’s home. Because of our schedules, I was able to put it up and take it down without her knowledge. The whole year she complained in class about her lack of sleep from annoying phone calls but never explained those complaints to the class. I got an A in her class and recently saw her at a class reunion….she still doesn’t have a clue!
With Googles help, & alot of muscle, I built a warming fire pit all by myself.
I hate vacuuming. I would rather clean the dirtiest bathroom on the planet rather than vacuum.
