Another step in the right direction. I invited a senior executive from a target company out to lunch. From reading his bio on the web, he is also a most awesome person, scholar, poet, as well as corporate man.

Actually, I think he is the kind of person that would be a good role model for me so there are no real expectations re: a job. He’s someone whom I would like to get to know better.

Going for this one too. i went to a women’s networking event a few weeks ago and actually won something! It’s a basket of creams and gels—no big deal but what a reward for going! I also saw and met a lot of inspirational women.

This week there is a women’s leadership conference that I am planning to attend too.
