I’ve completed quite a few projects over the last few months, and now I am working on an Afgan of granny squares. Which is going to take me forever! :-(

Well, this one’s just rolling on forward!
So far, I’ve crocheted two bags (an envelope style and a drawstring style), two scarves, and two stone bags. Now I’m working on my first afghan.
In the process, I learned that instead of the triple crochet stitch I thought I’d been using, I’d accidentally created a whole new stitch. He he he….oops!
Well, I’m not sure if I learned a new stitch….or just created one. laugh
But it seems to work and I like the way it looks in bulk. It’s a high, lanky stitch that requires four loops on the hook. Although it takes longer to complete each stitch, the rows are higher so it probably evens out in the end.
Well, the learning part has at least begun.
Basic chain stitch was already stable as Mom taught me that just before she died. Since October, I’ve learned 6 more stitch types, overcome the dizziness of circles, and started Sissy’s gift.
Now if I could just manage to add rows in a straight line…. sigh
