Finish Sims 2 Legacy Challenge

Well, extreme beginning is really extreme. At first, we could not afford any walls, and almost all the items apart from those for Stella were bought, used and sold after this. But having a pet in your family from the very beginning is a good thing, because you can get your first salary in the first day. When you only have 1500 simoleons, another hundred really matters.
Vincenzo changed 3 jobs – military, athletics and journalism. He managed to get promoted three times and got all this bonuses. Well, he got fired over a bad chancecard (I always play them, it gets more interesting that way), but I think he’ll manage somehow:)
Vincenzo also fell in love with his neighborhood’s Garden Club representative – Elaine. She is a Popularity sim, and they have chemistry 1, which means they cannot have children. But she’s quite rich ($$$, if I can believe her) and I think about moving her in.
With all the money Vince can afford a roofed room (which is a good thing – winter is only 1 day away) and items to satisfy his daily needs. Well done, Vincenzo!

Well, that’s pretty much the end of my first attempt to finish Legacy Challenge. Mia Ravenhill burned to death while cooking creppes suezette (I’m not sure about the spelling, but you know what I’m talking about). She had just achieved her lifetime want and got pregnant with her heir, but alas…

I’m no doubt going to do this again.

Well, the whole new neighborhood, the whole new founder – Vincenzo Cero, a decendant of a once-powerful Italian mafia family. His parents were murdered and he grew up in his grandgrandmother’s house. Now he’s out and ready for building a strong lineage of his own… Hopefully without any shady quirks.
He’s an adorable family sim with a even more adorable dog Stella. His LTW is to reach the top of educational career.

We are attepmting an extreme start, so well, I better have a lot of luck…

Well, playing a romance sim is a rather odd experience. They are so crazy about sex, I just can’t stop wondering… But they are pretty simple too – you see a sim, you talk to him, you go on date, you wait 2 days, go on date again, you fuck her, you call her from time to time. The important thing to remember is not to go on community lot and not to invite another date before the first brings you flowers. That’s it. It was somehow harder in the university, there another rule is handy – don’t fuck where you live and watch out for npc’s – some of them can enter without invitation.
Mia rolled “romance” for her aspiration change, so I proceeded with dating, waiting and having sex… She had her first woohoo with her professor – Catalina Something, don’t actually remember her name. She wohooed with all her professors and naturally graduated with honors. I try to keep her away from my other player characters – she’s somehow scary to me. She’s had wohooes with 13 sims by now, and I think I’ll have her lifetime want fulfilled and then thing about a heiress to her proud lineage. I’m thinking about her having a child with a maid – he’s rather good-looking.
As for the career – Mia’s in the military. I don’t know how it ended up this way – but well, anything happens. I’m now enjoying whole-new hardware and exhausting installation process.

Rather clumsy entry – but well, I don’t remember anything else, I haven’t played for so long.

So, I’m starting the challenge over. I’ve had computer problems and such, so Ravenhills are lost now. I’ve visited the legacy site with oficcial rules and ‘ve chosen some handicaps:

So, my legacy founder is named Mia Ravenhill (after my first legacy sim). She’s a Romance young adult sim, a blond and a bitch. Her lifetime want is “have wohoo with 20 sims”, she majors in Biology. She likes muscular men with glasses (or git women with glasses, she actually doesn’t care). I moved her into completely new neighbourhood. This family is actually a part of my neightbourhood project, so it’s going to bee a pretty slow legacy.

I almost had a heart-attack last time I played Ravenhills… The thing is, Rebecka gave birth to another pair of twins! At first, I thought I have accidenty downloaded “all twins” patch and thought about starting the challenge over. But then Albert had one alien child, not twins. I named twins Mila and Gordon, and the alien girl – Andromeda.
Carl and Ania grew up into teens. At first, when they were children, I thought, that Carl will continue the legasy, but he appeared to be not very good-looking (I dont’ like his broad chin), so I think maybe I’ll make Ania do it.
Bec finally had “get 10 children” want. I’m now thinking about whether I will fullfill it or not. She’s had four of them for now, so another six probaly won’t be a ploblem)))) Especially, if they will happen to be twins too. Well, we’ll see. I’m currently working on Albert’s “max out 7 skills” want. He’s maxed out 4 for now.

I have a slight problem with my video card, so I’m not able to play as much as I want. I hope I’ll fix it soon.

Carl and Anastasia are children now, they are 4 days from moving to teenagers. I’ve rolled for aspiration for them, Carl had money, and Anastasia – pleasure. Well, the bad thing about Albert and Rebecka’s children is that Al has black hair and blue eyes, and Rebecka – blond hair and brown eyes, which makes all their children black-haired and dark-eyed. That’s not so bad, but I would prefer some more variety… There’s a strange thing about children born in-game – they are geniuses! Carl maxed out logic in two days, and Anastacia maxed out creativity. Well, maybe that depends on how sim grous up… Carl grew up platinum andhe learns a bit faster that Ania, she grew up gold.
Precious is going to become an elder pet the same day twins will grow up. I could have fed him from aspiration bowl, but I won’t.
Rebecka is pregnant again – she finally got that “have a baby” want! Alfred is pregnant too – I finally got him impregnated by aliens! I heard that there’s only 0,05% chance to get abducted, but I tried really hard, so)))
And the big news – Albert fullfilled his lifetime want. He’s now a Crime Lord! Well – yay! What can I also say? )))

Well, Rebecka had two chamring twins – Carl and Anastasia. They are niw babys and in care of nanny, Rebecka back to work.
Albert was saved from death once – he almost died in a fire but his faithful wife returned him. I thought he’s not going to roll this need again, but I was wrong… Well, I;m not going to risk his life for the second time anyway) Albert also adopted a wolf, Baron. He’s now named Earl, I just like the word more. Albert wants to become a werewolf, I think I’ll make him one. Just after he gets pregnant with aliens. I wonder if you can have alien twins? There’s some twist in my game and I get twins much more often than normal people do)
Albert now is a Conterfeiter and he had a good chancecard, about diamond, so our family budget became 20,000 simoleons bigger. I’ve built them permanent house, I’m going to get it expanded when they’ll have more people and money. It’s great you can send teens to colledge anytime you want)))

Rebecka is now a Celebrity Chef. Her dog (she called him Precious, she’s a blond after all) is a very well-behaved pup.
The strange thing she doesn’t want a child. She wants to kiss her husband, to wohoo with him, but she doesn’t want a baby!
Well, it doesn’t matter anyway, she’ll have one)))
I’ve used Elixir of life on Albert, he’s now young and fresh as morning)) Well, they both have a very long life ahead. I started to build them a house. I mean a real one, not that shackthey had at fist. With basement, good windows ans such.

There’s been 9 simdays since Albert Hugh Ravenhill have moved to a big 5*5 lot of Mystery Town. His lifetime want appeared to be “Become a Criminal Mastermind”. Maybe it’s because he wants his brothers to be punished for what they have done to him)
It’s pretty hard to build a decent house with 4000 simoleons, so at first Albert had “a place to live”, not a house. It was one-room shack with a bathroom. It had a shower, a toilet, a fridge, one counter, a bookcase and a sofa. There was no bed, no wallpapers and no floor covering. The first goal was to earn some money, so the first job Alfred got was Recruit. 350 a day – best salary of all, as I remember) The Pickpocket job was not in the newspaper that day, or I would have chosen it despite the low pay. All the first day Albert was studying to cook – he got really into it, and wants like “reach level N in Cooking” kept rolling. A couch appeared to be a most uncomfortable way of sleeping, and Albert’s “social” was pretty low, so I had even to tell him to go to work. He sweared at me, but obeyed)) When he came home, social bunny was waiting for him… Luckily, some red-haired girl (don’t remember her name) phoned and invited him to downtown. That’s where he met his love) Do you remember I’ve said Albert likes slim dark-haired girls? Well, Rebecka is blond and not really slim, but their chemistry is 2.Her aspiration is Family and she was a YA the day Albert met her. So, when after 3 dates, Albert Proposed to her and invited her to move in, she quit colledge and got a job in Cooking career. It was funny how albert wanted to marry Bec, but the girl only wanted sex and a puppy. After two days of living together they married – Albert’s decision.
Now their house has two rooms and even some windows))) Pretty rich comparing to where theyhad to start.
They are climbing the career ladder pretty fast, with thinking cap and each other to support all their goals))) Albert is Getaway driver and Bec is a Hostess. The latter finally got a puppy today, she was really glad))
They are not rolling “have a baby” want yet, and it’s right – they don’t have a house that big.

So, I’m doing this. As if I had nothing else to do! Univercity (the real one, not the add-on) takes a lot of my time, but a woman who’s going to get a degree in philosopy(that’s me) is going to play a stupid computer game, which makes people zombies (that’s sims).
But here’s a saying “what a woman wants, God wants”. At least, there is such a saying in Russia, where I live. So I apologise for my bad Enlish in advance – I’m not a native speaker.
I have a bad video card, which doesn’t recognise water and wall textures and a lot of Italian humanists to read, but now I’m going to start Sims 2 and create Albert Hugh Ravenhill, the bastard son of an Enlish lord. He moved to Simville to escape from his vile brothers, who wished him dead because their father made Albert his heir, not his in-marriage children. Albert’s mother was a beautiful Irish woman with flowing black hair and bright blue eyes, and her son resembles her a lot. He’s a knowledge aspiration sim, pretty outgoing though and a bit lazy. He’s very fond of black-haired slim women, but can’t stand them wearing make-up. It’s so vulgar!
So, I think I’m going to post at least once a week about how he’s doing. I’m not crating a new neighborhood for him, leaving my own custom one. It doesn’t have a lot of families, though.
