Updates on my Q1 goals:
Learn 5 new recipes – pot roast, bistek tagalog, salmon salad, fajita salad, carrot cake, and more! I find that planning menu for the following week is fun and something I look forward to
Read at least a book – Secret life of bees is what I’ve tried reading. It’s hard to concentrate on reading a book when you have an infant to watch
Make an artwork – i might have to give up on this one
Complete my 2008 photobook – i might have to pass on this one
Create a scrapbook for my baby – not yet done
NOW I’m really looking forward to Spring. I’m sick of the cold winter. I’m missing going out for walks with my baby.

I’m looking forward to a trip to the zoo with some friends. (its too kiddie but i dont care as long as i think id enjoy)
I love animals but the idea of seeing them in cages doesnt make me very happy. Still, I like going to zoos because its a chance to see my favorite animals. I just feel sad for them.

Looking forward to something fun is what sustains me or used to sustain me. For a very long time, vacation trips and trips to new places were what I constantly look forward to. It’s very unfortunate that I dont have as much of those right now. Oh well, I shouldn’t let people or situations be a hindrance for me to continue to looking forward to things or events. =)
