How do you begin to accept knowing that at one point or another, you will find yourself in a situation in which you are miserably helpless?
Today I learned that you have to grasp reality and tell yourself that you are not a specialist in the area that is required to mend the damaged, and therefore cannot help the hurt, and then you must force yourself to walk away from it knowing that there simply was nothing you could do except sympathize.
But that will never be enough.

How unlikely would it be to find out that your friend enjoys cemeteries as much as you do? Apparently not very! I was sitting in my friends office today making small talk when out of the blue she says, “So I went to the Lexington cemetery over the weekend and it is absolutely gorgeous!”
I’m so excited to have finally found someone to go with!

This isn’t cemetery related, but it is about dead preserved bodies. Has anyone attended the Bodies Exhibit?
It looks awesome, right? I would have LOVED to see this. I was suppose to be taking a little trip to Cincinnati with a friend but unfortunately we did not go.
So what do you suppose they are going to do with these bodies once the exhibits are over?

It’s the mystery of why the stones are there that gets me.

Rain, rain...

Sadly, we did not get to go. The weather was terrible most of the time, plus we had to build a patio and that took up all of our free time. Maybe next year. I’m pretty let down.

My dad and I have a date set to go visit the Lexington Cemetery. Apparently it’s quite the site.

There is something about them that I am drawn to. I prefer the ones from the 1800-1900’s. My dad and I used to visit alot of cemeteries when ever we’d be driving through the state. We were suppose to go to this huge one in Chicago, but we never did. Hopefully some other time.
