On hold for now

Well, the time has passed and I
did hear from others who were in
the same boat as me. Hey, this goal
may be on hold, but there’s still
3-4 years left to try!

hehe…this is funny…

next hour almost up

still mostly cloudy and looks like I
got skunked out on this one…

ugh

Well, this blows nuggets…in this little
amount of time we now have complete cloud
cover. I can no longer see stars either.
Maybe it will clear out in a bit, but I
doubt it. Bummer.

1st hour down

nothin…some are saying it won’t reach
this far down, others are saying yes.
I did a bit of research while waiting for
the time frame it was supposed to hit, and
in 2000/2001 there was only 1 person in
Virginia that had the great fortune of seeing
it. I’m gonna keep checking even if it doesn’t
pan out. Crudlles…the clouds are beginning
to move in now…maybe they’ll stay away a bit
longer…

Another guy who photographs aurorae stated that
if we miss this one not to worry because he believes
that the next 3-4 years will be better for viewing.

Yah, I get excited over weird stuff…I’m like a
kid in a candy or toy store.

I mean seriously…how cool would it be to see
something like this picture:

Whoa...is this for real?!

Apparently we’re supposed to have a possible
view of the Aurora Borealis in Virginia! The
mainland U.S. is supposed to be able to see.
I’m getting the popcorn and stuff ready!

While I realize how disruption of satellites
might be a bummer, it’s worth it to see this!
