Be assertive

i totally failed at this goal last night. so the guy i’m seeing has been too busy for me lately, which really sucks, but i was as understanding as i could be. I havent heard much from him for about a week. my cousin came up from VA yesterday to visit so we went out to the club, and who shows up??? THIS GUY I”M SEEING. he shows up with some friends… so…. instead of saying hi to him, i ignored him…. ignored him….a ton. and i know i shoulda said hi, but i couldnt do it, i felt sick to my stomach every time i tried making eye contact with him. he didnt say hi to me either, i refused to make eye contact with him, and no one wants to be rejected. he did text me about an hour after i left saying that he had been there, and i told him, yeah, i saw u there, was gonna say hi, but i had to leave.. and that’s about it..so, i guess, my best answer is that it’s over for real now.

If i need something, or want something, i shouldnt have to wait around for someone to guess what it is that i want or what is is that i need. I need to take initiative and ask. if i like a guy, and i want to talk to him, i need to call him and not make myself miserable by not doing anything and waiting for things to happen… GOTTA MAKE THINGS HAPPEN… some things will work out, some things wont… but what’s that saying, a man who’s tries and fails is worth more than a man who never tried… or something like that… yes, i have to be more assertive.
