It was really random, it was in an envelope with a slip of paper pretty much saying “call me alright” and had the name and number of the podiatrist, I’m a little unsure as to why there’s one, I think there should probably have been two of them.
This is to correct my feet and ankles which will in turn help correct my knee problems.
I also got a call a day or two ago and the physiotherapist had got the results of the scan I had on my knee, apparently I do have a torn carteleage but its also malformed, over grown somehow and the bone in my knee is also malformed and grown strangely too. What’s up with that?
I wonder if other people experience unpleasant surprises and shit like this too, now I’m waiting on a date for surgery and might get some dates for physiotherapy.

I got a diagnosis last week of some sort of serious progressive tissue deterioration in my knee, I’ve had a torn cartelage for a while and need key hole surgery on it but this is something else, I’ve also got fallen arches on my feet and need insoles and to change the sort of shoes I’ve been wearing, running is off the cards at the moment.
I’m going to keep this goal because I hope with physio-therapy that I will be able to do it still, its also a goal that says something about myself.

I’ve not done anything to bring me closer to this goal, friends of mine who acquired an interest in running after talking to me have succeeded in completing competition races and I’m still struggling to keep a regular work out regime
I think I could need a training buddy

I wondered about the possibility of actually running coast to coast in the US or any other long, long distance endurance race,
I dont think I’ll achieve this any time soon, I’m out of shape but its a definite objective
