It’s funny how quickly this stopped being ‘learning’ and simply became ‘playing’. I’ve still got a long way to go but I feel like I’m passed that difficult stage where my hands feel peculiar and lost. :)

Annie has written 5 entries about this goal
I’ve been practicing a few chords twice a day for the last couple of weeks. It’s a nice way to start and end each day. I know I haven’t been pushing it far enough, but it’s a start at least. I’ve also been doing what lucyann2 suggested here which I think has helped immensely. I was (and still am a little) having trouble controlling my last two fingers, although it is humorous to watch them flail for each fret.
I’ve not practiced as much as I know I need to. Over the last couple of days I’ve done twenty minutes each day, it’s reminded me how much I need to do this daily to really progress.
We sounded great!
OK so the cat couldn’t care less and I was dreadful, but I got up earlier than usual and it was a pleasant start to the day. I practiced some chord changes (slooowly) for 20 minutes and my left hand ached all morning, but I enjoyed it. I also felt it contributed nicely to my ‘Use my time more constructively’ goal too.
I’ve commandeered an old (and probably not very good) guitar and I stumbled upon an old guitar book while raiding the loft at my parents place (that’s probably also not very good but hey).
Now I just have to practice as often as possible.
