I consider myself done on that, because I’ve been following my workout schedule for two months, day in day uout, with some flexibility when I could not do it exactly how it was supposed to be done, but on the whole, i’ve been very consistent.
Now, the goal for next month is to run up to 5K.
Lau_Bleue has written 7 entries about this goal
end of week 4.
i’ll consider myself on the track after 4 more weeks. i’m still following an 8-week program i found on the internet to prepare a 5K race. so i should be able to run 5K at the and of June.
by then, i’ll focus on a new goal, add something to my running schedule, but consider this one achieved.
ran and walked today, for half hour, in between heavy showers…
i’ve been following my “program” for three full weeks now. one more week, and it will be one month! i’m so happy to have gotten back on the track, and in my running shoes!
stuck to my running schedule for the last two weeks.
so far so good!
I’ve been alternating running 1.5 or 1.75 miles and walking/running, with only one day off each week to rest. week three’s on the go!
so far so good; went out in the sun in the early morning, and ran 1.5 miles. great feeling… my legs are a bit sore, but I feel so happy!
of my 30-day trial thing… I ran and walked this morning. feels great to start the week this way! in fact, I think if we want to get a habit of running regularly (like 3 or 4 times) during the week, it’s really giving the week a good start than to run early on Monday morning. it’s like setting the tone for the week. (wishful thinking??)
and wanna do it again. i remember how great i felt when it was usual for me to go running several times a week… 3 or 4 times most weeks, with a little bit of tennis too in between. the best times were when i ran in the woods, with a dear friend of mine who knew the forest like the back of his hand, and who could invent a new route for us each time… loved it. i felt powerful and light at the same time. i want to get that feeling back.
