by Bill Bryson is HILARIOUS! I laughed and laughed and laughed. Beyond that, it was also just a fascinating read with all of the research and science that was thrown in.
On the back cover it says “Does Bill Bryson make people laugh out loud in public?
“Does a moose have antlers?”
So true.
I wrote out the chorus of a song that I felt was appropriate and returned it today.

I’ve wanted to do this for quite awhile and although my husband and I seem to be constantly at the library, I never remember to write a note and leave it in whatever I have rented. I also wonder… what should I write? Should I actually write a note to whoever reads it? Should I write a joke or an entertaining story from my life? Should I just leave a quote, however cliched that may be?
I rented The Kite Runner last month and wrote on both sides of my slip of paper. One was a quote from a song that came to mind again and again as I read the book, and the other was an appropriate Afghan proverb.
