Visit orphanage in Uganda

I know that it will be soon that I go to Uganda. I have a lot of contacts there and many places to go love on some children and help is needed so badley. There are orphanages of children who are so little and their parents have already died of AIDS and they have no one except for the people that have walked out of their regular lives and into this place to be a loving hand, a loving arm to cradle and touch the forehead and kiss the cheek and smile back into their eyes and let them know they are loved. Let them know they are not abandoned…but just in the midst of a turbulant time. Love can get you through so many things…but if you are in the fires and believe there is no love…wow, that is the hardest part.
Jesus showed us how we could walk through the fire and come out on the other side because He is there with us. These children in Uganda, as in many places in the world, have been born into a world that is not the ideal situation, but it doesn’t have to be the worst. If I were a child born possibly with AIDS and both my parents were gone..probably aunts and uncles too…or they are so poor they can’t take care of their children either.
If I lived in some place that didn’t have a hospital for me to go to and I was too small and unable to plan or walk myself to find care, I would only be seeking food, water and a helping hand. So…I hope to be a helping hand that can also be there with the food and water and bring much more to offer. Love of Jesus.

I mean to go and work, hold the children, feed them, play with them. Help clean or give people a rest, help wash clothes or make clothes or do whatever needs to be done. Mostly holding children is needed….they need a loving touch and there are not enough arms to go around. I would like to go for at least a month.
