At lunch with D, S, and A—A told a story that when she went to get coffee earlier she started talking to AM and Kitty. They somehow started talking about baby-boomers’ children and how they are unable to take criticism.
Granted my parents are not baby-boomers. BUT, my generation consists of the children of the boomers. (My parents are just older and I am the baby.)
Can I blame a little bit on that?
And I realized that I am better than A at taking criticism…
Although Matt did point out last night how much I suck at it.

you know—i took it better than I thought. In fact, it went much better than I assumed it would—maybe that is why I wasn’t bothered by the criticism.

I understand that criticism is usually not an attack on my personality or anything… and maybe I can blame this on being a Cancer. BUT, if I can’t, I need to get over the fact that some people may not realize that I am perfect. And listen, and not then mope around for a while after thinking that I am useless, horrible, and I “just suck!”
