go to the movies alone

This might come not because it is a goal, but because Matt’s schedule sucks so much. We have tried to go see a movie a few times in the past week- but since he is always on call, we never can go. Whenever I want to go see a movie he ends up being busy.

Is it horrible that I love Penguins and I haven’t been able to see Happy Feet because he promised he would take me, so I felt MEAN going alone and I can’t go because HE IS ALWAYS WORKING.

I am also starting to be mean to myself because he is always working… I better not start taking it out on others.

At this point, if I really want to see something Matt goes with me.

And usually there isn’t something I want to see that he is not interested in seeing.

BUT, the next time I really want to see something (think more chick flick than he would prefer) I will find a night were he is busy on call, and go. Just GO.

I would have gone to see Holiday by myself, but he wanted to see it.

Maybe I will check and see if there are any good foriegn films that I want to see… and just tell him this is something I need to do. He might still take offense… really, I want to do this. I’m checking out the pages now… Maybe after Christmas (when unfortunately his job will make him SUPER busy) I can go and have a good night out enjoying my own company.
