http://www.43things.com/person/thinkred has a goal that is “Try something new each week” or something to that degree. I think this is a bit of what I meant.

A few years ago I was in a class where I was putting myself out there by just being there (I had a HUGE fear of ticks… by the end of the month I could pick one up and rip it apart.)
At the beginning of this class I made an effort to push myself to do things that I wouldn’t normally WANT to do. I got in the cold water further than I had to -when collecting bugs. I swallowed fear and DOVE. It was great for me.
I wish I could be fearless like that again isn’t an accurate statement. Because I wasn’t fearless. I was scared. But, it was GREAT.
I want to do that again. Live and take risks. Push myslef to do things that make myself uncomfortable, but COULD reap great rewards.
