On new years day I got up early to see the sunrise with 2 of my friends. We drove to Southead, so we could see the sunrising over the ocean and also see sydney harbour. Afterwards we had breakfast at Bondi.
I got so many nice photos, I made a slideshow of some of them which can be viewed here:

I really think I should do this more often, it was a great way to start the new year.
This is a photo of the sunset over Lake Wakitipu in Queenstown. This was the last night of my recent 10 day trip to New Zealand. 10 beautiful, unforgettable days.
This sunset was both beautiful and bittersweet, because it will be a long time before I live that well again.
The sunrise this morning was really beautiful. Except I was watching it from my car on my way to work. I don’t think that really counts. The purpose of this goal for me was to take more time out to be silent and still and just enjoy the sunrise/sunset. So yeah, watching from the car when I’m preoccupied, sleep deprived and craving caffeine isn’t really fufilling that goal.
