I was ecstatic to receive my commission in the mail this past week! The next steps are: purchasing a surety bond, E&O insurance (not required) and then I’ll be going down to the county clerk’s office to be sworn in.

Today, I received my letter that I passed! Now, I’m just going to need to file my application for a livescan background check and fingerprinting! After that, it is the swearing in, and then I should receive my commission.
So I have a one-day class at a community college. I just need to take my passport photo and I’ll be good to go!
