It’s the last day of summer today and I had to say it was really great! I had some short trips, went to the beach, drove a lot and loved it, met with friends and worked a lot too. Now I am in Barcelona, visiting my cousin and enjoying this wonderful city (it’s raining actually, but I don’t mind after the Middle East heat). I just felt generally happy the last few month and hope it will stay this way. So goal is accomplished! :)

This summer is going really well, much better than I could have expected! I’m going to the beach sometimes, meeting with friends, started driving, doing lots of one day trips to Africa and even enjoy working!
My plans for the rest of the summer:
- some more short weekend getaways
- hiring a car and driving a lot in Qatar
- meeting up with friends
- going to the beach
- relax during Ramadan
- Go for a full body massage
- Intercontinental beach
- Bookstore visit
- Plan our weekend in Seychelles
- Eurovision semi-finals
I added this goal a few weeks ago, but then my pessimist side took over and I deleted it. Best summer ever? How? It’s 50 degress in the desert, no chance to do anything outdoor and all I will be doing is work. But a few days ago my positive spirit returned and felt that it’s possible to have a great summer. I don’t know if it will be the best, but it can be still very good, it’s up to me. I have a few one day trips planned, Seychelles, Istanbul or Rome, Kathmandu and maybe Bucharest or Athens too. And then from the 20th of July Ramadan will start, and I’m planning to rent a car and go wherever I want, because I will only have to work 6 hours, so I do whatever I want for the rest of the day. Could even sign up for bootcamp. It’s at 5am in the morning, 3 times a week. Would definitely be a huge challenge. And planning to do lots of sports and even visit the beach a few times, in spite of the extreme hot. And then in September a long holiday is waiting for us!
