In the summer I traveled a lot, but it wasn’t really backpacking, but I definitely want to do it. And alone it would be the most interesting. So I will save up money for the next summer.
I made a small plan. I will start from Budapest and go to Krakkow by Orangeways bus. I will spend a few days there, visit Auswitz, Zakopane and Wielicka Salt Lane, then I’m going to the capital (by train I think). From Poland I will go to Lithania-Vilnius, spend there a few days as well and visit an other place called Trakai. It’s a tourist destination and nearby to Vilnius. After that, I’m going to Riga (Latvia), spend there a few days as well and make a day trip to Jurmala, there is a nice beach. I’ve just heard about Gauja National Park which is called the Switzerland of Latvia, so I’m going to visit that one as well. From Latvia I go to Estonia, to the capital Tallinn. Few days there, and maybe I go to see the biggest island of Estonia: Saarema. Estonian air flies there, it’s a 45 minutes flight and tickets are cheap. I’m planning to spand there 1-2 days only. Back to Tallinn, then I take the ferry to Helsinki (Finland). Few days there, then I go to Parvoo, I think it will be a short time there only, then I travel to Lappenranta, near this place are lots of lakes and natural beauties. I’m interested in natural sights as well. Then back to Helsinki, and I take the ferry to Stockholm. Hopefully I will meet with Johan there, and he can show me a few interesting things. And please tell me, if there is any natural beauty around Stockholm, like waterfalls, lakes, national parks etc. which might be important. From Stockholm I will go to Oslo (Norway), see the city then go to Bergen and to the fjords. I want to see Sognefjord as well, it’s north from Bergen. After that I’m going to Gothenburg, Malmo, Copenhagen, and from there to Berlin with the night express. Option one is to end my journey here and go back to Hungary, option two is to go to Netherlands (Amsterdam), Belgium (Brussels and Brugges) and to Luxembourg. South of France and Switzerland and Liechtenstein would be also great to see, but it depend on time and money.
