cut my own hair

Cut it short, short! My dearest is appalled, but I am getting lots of compliments, and it is easy to deal with.

My unruley hair takes on a life of its own at this length. Unleashed, it stands out in all kinds of directions.. but careful use of gel is helping to make it all look more “on purpose” than “outta control.”

I attempted a self-trim, but trimming short hair in the back is a dicey proposition…. Going with a professional trim this week, just to keep things on track. Maybe I will be able to do the trim my self next time!

I think that I can manage it… but I am not sure how to get to the back. Right now, my hair looks pretty okay, so I am going to try it out in a couple of weeks.
