I was chatting with a friend about this goal, and it was clear that her husband dictates most decisions in their household.
It works for them – but it was a reminder to me that being a good wife can take many different forms. My husband hates being involved in the day to day details of the house.. he has enough at work…. so that means I run the show on this end.

I started making my dearest lunch to take to work, and he loves it! It doesn’t take that much time, and I know he is eating healthy.
Better yet, his co-workers are jealous! They have been asking for menus and recipes. (Which is kind of freaking him out…. engineers discussing menus and exchanging recipes.. this is new territory for them!)
He is coming home with better energy. I keep sneaking in healthy snacks, so I suspect trips to the vending machine are reduced. (Diabolical source of transfats, processed sugar and other goo.)
Viva Tupperware, it has been a huge asset in packing fresh foods. Yeah, I know it is popular to mock this stuff.. but darn it is useful.
