I heard that some people pick a “style’ for gifts, and then wrap all gifts that way.
For example, they use brown or white butcher paper, but then dress up the package with fancy ribbon.
The idea is that you always have paper to wrap gifts, so that you don’t end up with the “wrapping in the car on the way to the party” scenerio.
I tried it for a couple of presents – the results were kind of disturbing. (Butcher shop gone mad…. rather than “stylish, minimal.”)
A small set back, but I will persevere.
