Done high raw for a month 4 months ago

Finally, after months of eating more salads and fruits, I have done a month, where I did about 75-85% raw foods. I know percentages might not sound impressive, but it’s A LOT of raw foods. Some days, I actually started doing completely raw, and then some days, I want a little something, that’s cooked. Overall, I think I’ve done amazing. I have never had so many greens in one month. Anyway, what I’m taking away from this is that I want to eat 85+ % raw from now on. Some days might be all raw and some days maybe a little more cooked, but overall, I’d like to continue with this. I’m very convinced that this is THE healthiest way to eat.

Fruit is one of the best sources of calories on raw diet. That’s great because most people really enjoy fruits; I know I do! Persimmons are in season right now. Make sure you get really really soft ones, that way they are completely ripe and very sweet. When they are hard, they can taste bitter and tarp.

While I’m still not brave enough yet to go raw all the way, with holidays with my family coming up, and a tight food budget, I enjoy trying foods that I will be eating on regular basis, once I am easting raw.

I’d love to go raw for 30 days, about 90% raw, and then see where I want to go from there! I might do it starting January 1st!
