tires filled, and he was willing... 3 years ago

but, the first time I let him go, he took a bad spill and got quite discouraged. He was doing well too, he traveled a good fifty feet by himself. As soon as he realized I wasn’t holding him up anymore, he veered into the grass, streetside, then wiped out on the street. He skinned his knee and both elbows. He got back on, but was afraid to try going solo and bailed everytime I let go almost instantly. He’s got a smaller bike, I think I’ll try that one for now and see if that works out.

i need to go out and buy an air pump and fill his tires up. The poor kid could barely pedal with the tires so low. He’s very inspired though as a few of his friends are already riding their bikes without training wheels. I know he’ll catch on quick.

Ryan gets out of school next week 3 years ago

That’ll give us plenty of time to get to work. I’ve picked out the perfect spot already. A long, fairly straight stretch of black top leading to a park near our house that is surrounded on both sides by thick, lush grass. After next Friday, we’ll have plenty of time to spend on getting it down. Can’t wait to pass down another thing to my son, and watch him grow even more!

He’s going to be six this summer and really wants to ride with the older kids in the neighborhood. I think he’s ready. Guess we’ll find out soon enough.
