Series of investigative fictions, murders, crime and humor, by the fierce scottish redhead Imogene McCarthery. I read that when I was about 11. I think i’m still a fan of those characters and universe. There must be 7 books.
Author: Charles Exbrayat.

Fantasy series
I’m not too much a fan of fantasy, more of fantastic, and sci-fi some too, but I really fell in Robin Hobb’s universe in the Royal Assassin series. It’s dramatic, adventure, action, depth, good characters, tragic turmoils and last minute events.
I read to 11, for now. Looking forward to read 12 and 13. Soon I hope.

When I see a movie a movie with a good story, whatever the effects are, I always search if there’s not a writer behind it. If people had more often this curiosity, I’m sure they would be delighted to really come into the magic world of the adventurer, the dreamer, or the genius who created the vision, often the only that’s good because it is like it was imagined.
All this to say I’m looking for the book. It’s in re-edition in France for March 2008. But I’d rather buy the original from 1979, if possible.
