Learn to play the guitar

Would Guitar Hero suffice? I love this game.

Well, I played for 15 minutes or so, before I had to leave. So it’s not really collecting that much dust.

I’m putting this out there to the people who live in Australia, Sydney specifically, that can play guitar.

I now know that it doesn’t work out if I’m trying to learn to play by myself. SO, if there is anyone who is able and willing to teach me to play a song on the acoustic guitar, please reply to this entry.

When I saw this goal a couple of minutes ago, I realised that I’m never going to be able to complete this goal, because you can’t absolute say that you’ve learnt to play the guitar because of the many songs and such, so it’s not really a very accomplishable goal. Confusing or is it all in my head?

So I think I will slightly alter this goal to:
“Learn to play a song on the guitar.”
I think it’s possible. Might still take a while though.

I’m getting there with Ultimate Guitar. The only thing is, if it looks too hard, I go looking for a different song. Should really stop that. Plus once I start humming/singing, my strumming goes completely wrong. Damn.

It’s getting colder, and my fingers are getting stiff. Oh well. I’m still getting better (sort of) and it’s a good way to procrastinate by doing something beneficial.

So glad that I have one to call my own, but to my mother: “I borrowed from a friend.” That’s what I’m going with until she realises that I own it.

So happy, I don’t think that anything that goes slightly wrong would make me unhappy. Hehehe. Yaay!

My plan for this year financially is:
I will save up $200-$250
So I can drag my friend to help me get a guitar
Then,
I will be able to learn
Good plan.
Now, to put this plan into action,
NO MORE SPENDING ON USELESS JUNK!
