LexaLexington has written 2 entries about this goal

Completed!

My autobiography was actually done…

Based on my 43 things page. I wrote entries about my biggest goals, how I got interested in them, what it would take for me to complete them, how I had already started working on them, even a few completed goals made it in…

But wow. The relief I felt in finishing that paper up…it was the last thing on my list of graduation requirements.

And I am done, baby!

Frustration!

As a high school graduation requirement, I am supposed to write an autobiography. For me, this doesn’t sound hard. It didn’t seem like a challenge, and I was extremely confidant that I could have it completed in a few hours. I love writing, and can squeeze an essay out in approximately 2 hours and get a 4.0 so an autobiography with no research involved should be no problem. Righr?

No.

I’ve tried writing the damn thing 24 different ways, 59 times.

It doesn’t matter how many times I sit at a computer and stare at the screen. It doesn’t matter how many times I try and write out my presentation word for word (as this is an acceptable form), it just won’t come out.

I’m hoping that tonight will be my last night of wrestling with it.
