decorate my house

I always thought I’d be good at it, so this is a very depressing conclusion. It’s amazing how it takes apart my ego when I drag home a new item and find out it looks like (&#$#@*& in my livingroom.

It’s hard to commit to this when you don’t own the place, because you don’t know if anything you do will work when you move. So I never have done it. But it’s embarrassing now, when people come over, and there’s really no excuse. Whenever I try, though, it’s hit and miss. I have really screwed it up. I wish I were better at it.
