A new knitting store in town...  — 1 year ago

...and they had everything I needed.

  • Book 1: The Knit Stitch by Sally Melville
  • A gorgeous thick and thin merino yarn called malabrigo in a rich variegated brown that goes with my coat
  • and fat size 13 wood needles

This evening, I cast on and so far I have knit two rows. This will be a great project for family holiday gatherings and for jury duty in the next two weeks.
