I ran it today in 10:30. Getting closer! Hoping for 10:15 next month, or faster. My new Nike sport mixes should be really great for that.

I’m going to give this a try this Thursday on campus. Last month, I ran a mile in 11 minutes, so all I have to do is cut just a few seconds each lap.

Since I ran a mile in 11 minutes today, I think maybe I can drop it down to 10 minutes within a month.

I’m working building a little speed and endurance at the same time, since I can’t bear to be this slow forever. Once a week, I do run 1 walk 3 with the run at 6mph or faster. The other two runs are just 20-minute plods with the goal of not stopping.
