A water pipe burst in our basement yesterday, leaving three inches of water on the floor and destroying some stuff. Got four bags of stuff thrown away and recycled four truckloads of damaged boxes (we had been saving them for our next move, but so much for that.) I’m determined to keep at it—to declutter that basement so it’s usable as a fun rec room for our kids and the various kids in the neighborhood who show up.
