Volleyball practice has started!

Today was the first day of volleyball practice.
I’m on the JV Team (and should be, unless there are cuts, and I get cut).
We practice 2 hours, Monday through Friday at 9 AM from today (August 24) until September 1. On September 1, the coaches have school (they’re teachers, too. we go back the next day.) so practice is at 3.
From Sept. 2 onwards, it will most likely continue to be at 3.
I already feel healthier and so pumped up! I’ve never been really athletic, but I think volleyball may be something I can do!
I ate pretty healthy today too, so yay!
On the right track here!
I’ll have to find something to do when winter gets here, but, let’s worry about that later!

I was majorly stretching last night. I definitely have some more stomach muscles, you can feel them. Of course, I’ve had those since I was little, so I don’t know if it’s anything new, haha.
I think I may be getting stronger.
I put on a little bit of weight, which sucks.
I’ll be at the beach next week, so I’m trying to really tone up my thighs, because my legs look really bad whenever I wear shorts or a bathing suit. But it’s summer, so what’re ya gonna do?

I just came back from the public pool. I only swam for about a half hour, but at least it’s better than nothing!!
I do random little stretches a lot, at different points in the day, so it makes me feel more flexible and stronger.
I still need to do more though!

To help me keep track of Physical Activity and Food Intake and stuff, I registered on http://www.mypyramidtracker.gov/default.htm. It’s pretty cool!
And tomorrow is the dude ranch trip with school!
About 6-7 hours of swimming, horseback riding, boating, etc. I’ll get plenty of exercise then!

Most of the time, I sit inside listening to music or reading or playing on my computer. I’m sick of being lazy, so I’m going to try and become more active this summer.
I’m also playing volleyball in high school, so I’d like to be in shape so I can do well in that.
