My baby is 1 year and 1 day old today, and is still breastfed , and seems to have no plans to stop. But one of my goals for 2008 is to teach him how to drink from a cup: we’ll see how long it takes: hopefully not 12 months !

So: worth doing for 1 yr – but one year, not two !

Thinking of it, the challenge is not for me, but for my baby: breastfeeding for 2 more months will be easy, but I wonder if he’ll agree to stop then; the real challenge will be “stop breastfeeding after 1 year” !

this is not going to be very difficult, since this baby refuses all other food. He only eats a small portion of “fromage frais” and 1 “Petit Beurre” when we’re having dinner. He does’t even know that there as such things as “bottles” that can be filled with “formula”.
