travel on my own

My son and I are taking a trip this summer ro a place we’ve never been to visit some friends. It’s not technically “on my own”, but it’s certainly a different experience than travelling with my husband and, let’s face it, he’s only four so I get to call the shots. We’ll even do an overnight on a train!

I’ve always wanted to travel on my own, and much as I love spending time with my husband and son, I think I want it even more now. I’d love to get away once a year, either alone or with a friend, in addition to family vacations.

If I can save enough money I’ll try a few days away in the fall, even if it’s just to Montreal.
