I have not been following this the last two weeks or so. Partly because I was a bit short on cash and had to eat what I had left around the house and also because I just missed sugar. I have never been too much of a pop drinker but I had really been craving it lately. Anyway, I am going grocery shopping tomorrow and am buying all healthy stuff again. I dropped ten pounds right away from eating clean and I have felt great, fitting into my old clothes. I don’t want to lose that.

going well... 16 months ago

I have been doing this for over a week now. I have stuck to it pretty much to the T, except for a lot more coffee and a few more glasses of red wine than what I am suppose to. I have made all my own food. I have been eating a lot, 3 meals a day and 2 snacks. I had been excercising like crazy for the past couple months without dropping any weight. I follow this plan and I drop a pants size in a week. I really think I’ll stick to this since it’s not really a diet as much as just a way to eat healthy, and if I really want something it ok. I am just supposed to pay attention to how I feel afterwards. Processed food actually seems kind of gross now that I think about it. I am excited to finally start seeing some of these muscles I have been building up under the fat.

I bought both the clean eating diet book and clean eating workout book. The diet book is all pretty much common sense nutrition stuff, but maybe things I really didn’t think enough about. Such as all the chemicals that are in processed foods. Basically your just supposed to eat things the way the come in nature, fresh fruits, veggies, lean meats and do your own cooking so you know what your eating. I went grocery shopping today, first the co-op to buy produce and Cub for everything else. I always thought it was really expensive to eat healthy but it’s not. Produce can get spendy but the beans and legumes and rice are dirt, dirt cheap. I am excited to try this.
