She had a great get-together on Monday. It was good to be out celebrating~

We took the 6th graders to see an Exhibit about Ancient Egypt at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African-American History. It was a great experience for us all~

Was a ticket to see Deepak Chopra, which occured tonight. It was a Wow experience. He was deep and said so much, using few words. I am grateful for another new and fulfilling experience ;)

Was like a dream come true! How exciting and fulfilling- everyone was in a good mood, anticipating victory, change and hope for a better future!

A shopping spree!

Our administration hosted a shopping spree/ continental breakfast for us at Learning Gizmos, a local teacher’s store. It was fun to get some of the supplies we wanted for our students. It was a great way to start Election Day!

(1) I visited a new church… Transforming Love Community. I’ve heard the minister speak at my church, twice. There was a profound feeling of love in that space. It was so joyful to experience and I enjoyed seeing others truly enjoy themselves. I felt welcome and among friends.

(2) I made a creamy potato leek soup and it is Mmmm Mmmm Good ;) I used smoked turkey in place of the bacon and sauteed the leeks in butter~

I had my first Lia Sophia jewelry party. It was fun and I received a free necklace (my choice) for having the party!
