I went for an hour walk, my daughter came along on her bike. Today we did the same thing, for less time though- she was invited to a party, so we cut it short~

I walked downstairs to Trader Joe’s and I was in the right place at the right time! As I was checking out, my cashier says,”You just won a free bag of groceries.” Then over walks a guy from customer service handing me a full bag with an assortment of snacks, sauces and sparkling juice. As a bonus, they came in a reusable bag ;) How cool is that?!

I also tried a new Indian dish packaged by T.J.’s It’s Butter Chicken with Basmati Rice and boy is it good!

I saw a play titled, “Mixed” by Jennifer George. It was about race, culture, history, love, fear, healing- it was W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L! Afterward, there was an open discussion… while there, I saw the Arab-American woman who was the tour guide for my group yesterday at the Arab American National Museum, how great is that? We had a chance to chat again, what a great evening~

Today, I went to the Arab American National Museum 10 months ago

We planned a field trip for our 6th graders that was new to most of us. I had no idea what to expect. We had a guided tour, lunch, then watched a movie. Our tour guides were great and complimented our school ;) I learned some things and will return soon. There is so much more to be learned. The museum is a great source of information~
