My friend posted it with a few others on his blog. I really enjoyed that activity. It reminded me how much I love to write. Perhaps it’s time I start my own blog ;)
If you’d like, you can read my reflections here. Mine is the second entry~
I walked 2 miles at the new track by the high school. I like it there, too. If I want, I can even go up and down the stairs in the stands.
I submitted an entry for a Father’s Day tribute on my friend’s blog site. He’s picking his favorite 3, we’ll see what happens~
I saw UP in 3-D with my daughter and we had dinner from the Villa Restaurant. Both were very good~
I went roller skating at Great Skate. A local organization funded the trip, so we took the 6th graders there for a two hour session. It was pretty amazing ;) There were kids who’d never skated as well as one who said he skates on the street, but he’d never been on a rink before. I think I skated for at least an hour… I had so much fun!
After hearing a friends suggestion, I went to YouTube and listened to Soulmate, by Natasha Bedingfield. The words are nice~
At the yoga shelter. A friend of mine joined a week ago and asked me to come out too. So glad I did, the teacher was one of my favorites ;)
To accompany a friend to court. It was a pre-trial hearing that’s been delayed. The charges are DUI. I went to pray with my friend before hand, I felt moved to take a half day from work in order to be supportive.
When we went to look at the vehicle afterward, it was a miracle that no one was seriously hurt. I’ve never seen damage quite like that. There are no memories of quite how that happened. The person was in and out of consciousness. I wanted to say dayum! In fact I did under my breath when I was out of earshot. Which is out of character for me- but it was unbelievable! Utterly a miracle that no one was hurt!
Waves of emotion have come to me in spurts since I first heard this. It’s like a dream because I never thought this would’ve happened to this person, no way. I guess it’s a lesson for us all.
Please don’t drink and drive!
It was new and fulfilling because I did what I believed I needed to do. There is a reason why I was supposed to be there…
The premium Resto Lounge to hear my friend sing for a House Party. It was Techno Weekend… what a blast! I had a great time. We danced, laughed and ate deep into the night.
We also went upstairs to the Pizza Bar, which is a new restaurant I’ve heard people raving about. Nice atmosphere, good food~
Kim S, a fb friend and mutual friend to a great girl I know from that and this site~
