I’ve worked out 3 days in a row for an hour each time~

This week I’m challenging myself to do at least 5 days /45 minutes of exercise
Sunday- 1 hr of cardio, stretching
Tuesday- 45 minutes of cardio
I’m going to start with at least 5 days/ 30 minutes of exercise
Sunday- 30 min, cardio-kickboxing, a few yoga postures…
Monday- 30 min cardio-step routine, 15 min exercise bike
Wednesday- 30 min cardio-step routine
Thursday- 45 min exercise bike, light shoveling
Saturday- 1 hr yoga and snow shoveling
I’ve decided to walk as I watch TV… this way, whether I go to yoga or not, I’ll get in at least 30 minutes several times a week
Tuesday- 45 minutes
Week of 12-28-08
Monday 45 minutes- cardio and yoga
Tuesday- 30 minutes cardio
I plan to (1) go to yoga class twice (2) ride my exercise bike 3 times for at least 45 minutes (3) do at least 100 crunches a day, 4 times this week and perhaps (4) do some jump roping in the midst of all those activities~
Today (Friday) I rode my exercise bike for 40 minutes, then did some crunches and yoga. Did anyone see the senior citizen that rides an exercise bike for 7 miles a day thhe other day on Oprah? I didn’t beat her mileage, but I started, that’s important, lol~
(Saturday) Yoga at the studio. I came home vacuumed, swept, mopped and cleaned every carpet/ rug in the house!
I will be working out at least 6 hours per week. My plan for this week:
Monday- Yoga
Tuesday- Step class and Powerflex at Ballys
Wednesday- Step or kickboxing
Friday- Step class
Saturday- Yoga
My weekly goal (for now) is yoga 3 times a week and resistance training once. I also do light cardio with my daughter, walks and bike riding.
Wednesday- 90 minutes Ashtanga yoga
Thursday- Yardwork
Friday-90 minutes Ashtanga yoga
Saturday- Powerflex and Yoga DVD
I plan to jumprope, complete a Step workout, run up and down the stairs- each for a 1/2 hour. In addition, I’ll be adding yoga to my routine. I purchased a DVD by the Gaiam Company. Aaron recommended anything with Rodney Yee. I actually did 2 a.m. workouts over the weekend. He’s willing to teach me more when I’m ready ;)
In addition to exercising at least 3 days, I propose to stop eating by 7:45 p.m. and if hungry again after that time, drink water ;)
I was looking at Oprah yesterday and saw her make a smoothie with soy milk. I had a protein shake made with soy milk over the weekend that was pretty palatable, so I may substitute a meal, rather snack with this a couple of times a week and see what happens. I’ve also decided to add more veggies to my diet, once again. Yesterday I made cabbage and had a handful of tomatoes. today with lunch I had a plate of salad and for dinner, I’ll be having more cabbage and either carrots or more tomatoes.
Wednesday: Step workout
Thursday: Elliptical machine
Saturday: Powerflex and cardio of some sort
Ideally, I’d do weights or resistance twice a week. We’ll see if I can work that out~
