The weekend was wonderful~  — 2 years ago

We went to Starbucks (He’s a regular there), Benihana’s for dinner, the movies (Lucky Number Sleven), we had wine and hung out, we did some ripping and running, and enjoyed one another’s company ;)

Last night we (RL and I) talked and laughed~  — 2 years ago

I called my aunt (he grew up down the street from her) and told her about how things are going, she was happy. She likes him a lot too. I am enjoying this~

I enjoy his sincerity, appreciation, and being up front. When I’m off on break, we’re going to Belle Isle early in the morning to see the sun rise over the lake ;)

Our first date ;)  — 2 years ago

We went to see The Inside Man last night. I almost asked for a raincheck because of the thunderstorms and pouring rain…we went on and I really enjoyed myself. I usually have a big problem when people talk during the movie, last night it was us doing the talking. No one seemed to be aggravated. In fact a guy in our row was snoring loudly, and people were chuckling, his date seemed to care less.

He was very attentive, opening doors, making sure I had everything I wanted, holding my hands when I sneezed because I got cold in the theater. We talked the whole way back. He walked me to my door and we hugged good night. It was a great hug too…I could still feel his energy after he left.

He wants to take me to dinner tonight.

A week ago I was content knowing I’d cross paths with a man whose presence kept me lifted. This week, I’m living it ;) I remember when Saafir said to just live my life loving the people around me and a relationship would come. I’m enjoying this process as it unfolds~

I like his spirit (we have alot in common), and it feels good. He’s done or is working on some things I’d like to do. He’s, heart-centered (points…), faith-full (points…), health conscious (triple point), enjoys having a good time (extra point), enjoys reading (bonus point)...so far, so great ;) How wonderful to meet a man who is available, open, and interested~

We all have passion about something  — 2 years ago

or some things- There is something each of us was born to do. It lights a fire under us, makes us smile, gives us a lift, and a whirling motion of ideas whenever we think about it. It is that certain something that makes us feel like we aren’t working when we’re involved in it, gives us so much to look forward to we we’re contemplating our future plans with it…and gives us a great sense of accomplishment when we complete some part of it. What is my it? Writing and poetry~ Anyone else care to share what it is for them?
