For outstanding service both on campus and in the community, and having a high GPA. The man in the photo is James Renick, who was Chancellor at the Dearborn campus (which I attended)at the time. My family was very happy… and so was I!

My first college graduation... 2 years ago

Was from the University on Michigan in 1996. That blue ribbon and medal is the Chancellor’s Medallion. I was one of two recipients that received the honor from the School of Education that year. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education.
