I still can’t believe I’ve actually lost this much weight. I hit this goal on October 3, 2007, and I’ve jumped around a bit since then but I weighed in at my 110-loss weight this morning. My life has completely changed. I went from an obese couch potato (for years and years) to a healthy, fit runner. I even coach running now!

I’ve lost 89 pounds, so I only have 21 left. I can’t believe I’ve come this far. Something just clicked in my head, and I did it, after years of obesity. I’ve gone from sizes like 22 and 24 and 26 to size 14 jeans (which are starting to get loose) and large t-shirts from the regular section of the store. How nice it is to shop in REGULAR sections! I can run now, for several miles, without stopping. I’m strong, and I’m getting stronger. Best of all, I did it my OWN way. I didn’t cut out carbs, eliminate sugar, deprive myself like crazy, or do anything insanely difficult. When I get to my goal weight, I’ll celebrate like mad, and then I’ll sign up for a marathon or something. Woohoo!
