I decided I had to find new homes for more of my books so I did a search for people with my books on their wishlist and am now sending out 7 RABCK’s to other BXers.

I received loads of books for my birthday so i’ve spent today registering them. The result of this is that i’m now the 2nd most prolific registerer (is that even a word?) in the city of Leicester, and the 7th in Leicestershire! An unusual boast indeed :D

I went to Manchester this weekend and thought it would be a great opportunity to release a couple of books a bit further from home than usual.

Left one in the Ladies toilets of the Palace Theatre and one in the Travellers Retreat hotel.

I released my copies of ‘Trainspotting’ and ‘Ella Minnow Pea’ at work last week. The latter disappeared pretty sharpish but ‘Trainspotting’ was still there at 8pm that night (so i’m told by a colleague) although it had gone by the next day. Let’s hope someone enjoys them or, even better, makes a journal entry!

19 of my AVL books have been snapped up after i posted an open RABCK on the Bookcrossing forum. Means more space on my bookshelves for the books currently on the floor! Wish i’d specified UK only though as it’s going to cost me a fortune! Damn my natural generosity :D

I released two books at work today and they seemed to disappear within about an hour! I hope whoever took them journals them and joins bookcrossing too!

Time to release some more i think before they take over the house!
