  • Finding out that the national library has an online search feature. I never knew such convenience existed!
  • An adorable postcard of baby Tasmanian Devils from Australia, and a nice bundle of ad cards from Spain, including this cute octopus one.
  • An entertaining TV night consisting of Don’t Forget the Lyrics, Criminal Minds and rhythmics gym (Olympics).

  • Waking up late and from a wonderful dream.
  • Shopped for souvenirs and postcards. Stopped by the incredibly sweet Inidan mama to buy steamed peanuts. He always gives one of those cheery smiles that makes me feel special.
  • Lovely durians shared between Pebbles and me as we watched the Olympics together till the wee hours of the morning.

  • A happy day for my mailbox and me. A beautiful blue Dutch clogs magnet, delicious Canadian chocolate coins, great animal welfare cards, and an exquisite package from Hungary with hand-painted Hungarian dolls, a souvenir totebag, and a souvenir magnet from Italy.
  • PostSecret. I particularly like the one with reference to the 40’s movie Brief Encounter.
  • Sweet and creamy durians with just the right tinge of bitterness.

  • Delectably warm and lightly toasted Italian herb bread with melted butter. I was left wanting more.
  • A beautiful ras card from Brazil and adorable Moomin figurines and stickers from Finland.
  • Most Evil – The connections between social rejection and spree killing.
    I particularly like the little experiment they did on random test subjects where it showed the different reactions and violent tendecies between the ones that were told they were well liked by the group and the ones that were told they were rejected by the group.
