Considering our minimal income and our schedules, I can’t completely overhaul the house. I think I could really love it here, it’s only that the people who lived here before us smoked and painted crappy 80’s cocaine art, so everything is black and white and gray with track lighting and covered with a thin tarrish film. The carpet kind of really sucks, but that’s really the only thing that would cost too much for us to fix…and I’m sure at some point we can afford to get them thoroughly cleaned, which would improve the smell in here by 150%. There’s just an overall feeling of coldness here that doesn’t match the warm color schemes that we have with our furniture and decorations. This’ll be a big project, for sure, and I hope to slowly begin to chip away at it after we finish up with all our holiday/political parties.
