I started thinking earlier today just how great it is to be alive. Taking pleasure in the little things (listening to my favourite song, seeing/speaking to a friend I haven’t spoken to in a while, watching the sun rise and set) is definitely a good way to practise positive thinking. And also in knowing that everyday is the beginning of something new, if you want it to be. A fresh start. :)

I’m going to start listening to my positive inner voice more, and start weeding out any negative thoughts I get during the day. I’ve only realised just how much they hamper the way I want to live! Only we are the only ones that can control how we think.

That said, I’m now more determined than ever to think positively – about myself and others. Life’s too short not to embrace whatever goodness and beauty there is in the world.
