stop smoking

I wished like heck I could get this done…but I can’t seem to stick with it….arrr what a frustrating thing! Lizza

D day is approaching a lot faster than I expected! I am an offical non smoker as of monday! The 14th was my mothers birthday and I figured what a better time to quit! I am scared and I do feel very alone in this quest…No support from anyone…everyone has given me shit over it…because EVERYONE I know smokes! Oh well….I am doing this for ME and ME alone not anyone else. Wish me luck…I am on my last pack! When this is gone I am done! Lizza

Hopefully things will go good..made a whole pack last over two days…for me that is really good…I am getting there…not sure I will ever totally quit at this point. I was thinking the other day about the first time we all get together and have a party…how can you have a beer without a smoke? Lizza

I took all the ashtrays out of the living area…but found myself this morning sitting at the computer and without thinking went in the kitchen got the ciggs and the ashtray and sat down at the computer with them….Darn it!!!! This is going to be a lot harder than I thought! I am tried of my house smelling like nasty ciggs….WHAT DO I DO?
I do however have a target day that it is gonna be NO MORE SMOKING in the house, hubby understands and is ok with it…He knows how I feel about this and he has had to work though addictions before, he knows how hard it is and maybe this might bring us closer…if I don’t bite someones head off! Anyone tried Welbutrin? I don’t think cold turkey is going to be how I can do it! Lizza

I have a long line of heart disease in my family, in fact my mother passed away last year from heart disease. Although the coroner said that smoking had no impact on my mother, I know that it causes so many problems…and the cost of ciggs are about to go up again here in Texas…I do need some advice with this….I am 28 and I have been smoking since I was 13. HELP!!! Lizza
