37. Growing

This plant was here when we moved to our new house. I don’t know what it is, but every year I forget that in the summer it suddenly sends up these huge stalks, in addition to the huge leaves it gets in spring. Every year I think I’m going to dig it up because those huge leaves are so weedy, and every year I seem to recall that whatever blooms on those stalks changes my mind.
