My mom and I used to do this every summer when I was in school – her business is seasonal. We live in Tennessee & would go through Texas, Arizona, New Mexico – she knew all the cool places to camp (some haunted-awesome) & places in the cities to find the best shopping. We would go north through yellowstone & return that way. She knew how to take all the back roads so it was very scenic. One year we took my grandmother, another year my aunt, infant cousin, & granny. Those were the days & I didn’t even know it.
Now working full time & everyone is so busy, it just hasn’t happened – in YEARS. So it’s my goal & I’m gonna make it happen.
